2025 National Community Transport Conference

The 2025 National Community Transport Conference will be held at Sea World on the Gold Coast and has a focus on the new Aged Care Act and the Australian Disability Strategy (ADS). This event for those in the community transport sector has a 2025 theme of ‘Innovating Together: Building a Connected and Sustainable Future for Community Transport’.

Speakers include: COTA CEO Patricia Sparrow shedding light on the policy and politics of the new Aged Care Act; Associate Professor Akshay Vij unveiling results from the National Variable Pricing Study; Professor Michael Pervan, CEO of the Independent Health & Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACP), on transport pricing and what’s next for IHACP; Jodi Cassar PSM on the implementation of the ADS; and Jane Anderson, who provides information and tools on how to push a brand on a tight budget in a fee-for-service world.

There will also be speakers from the National Disability Insurance Agency, the Department of Health and Aged Care, and the University of South Australia, with the final update on the National Variable Pricing Matrix, together with interactive workshops and panel discussions, including lived experiences. This year will also see the inaugural Community Transport Industry Awards hosted at a pre-dinner function.
