2025 National Palliative Care Awards open for nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2025 National Palliative Care Awards, Palliative Care Australia (PCA) has announced.
The categories for 2025 include: emerging leader; emerging researcher; outstanding work by a team in delivering palliative care; innovation in palliative care; outstanding achievement in volunteering; outstanding achievement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander palliative care; outstanding achievement by an individual in palliative care; and lifetime achievement award.
The biennial awards are an opportunity to celebrate the individuals, teams and organisations whose compassionate care and support to people at the end of life goes above and beyond. “These awards are an important opportunity to recognise the dedicated people working every day to ensure Australians receive high-quality, compassionate palliative care,” PCA CEO Camilla Rowland said.
More information, including how to nominate (submissions close 19 June), is available here, via the PCA website.
